Today I’m going to share what I believe the best form of TRT is. My views may not be what you want to hear, but it’s what needs to be said.
A lot of men have asked me what I think the most effective form of testosterone replacement therapy is. This comes as no surprise because as humans, we tend to drift towards the easiest/quickest solutions, expecting a one size fits all answer. Unfortunately, it’s not that simple when it comes to your body, hormones and health.
There are numerous forms of TRT:
- Injectable testosterone
- Testosterone creams and gels
- Testosterone pellets and patches
- and more…
Even injectable testosterone can be administered via different methods:
- Glute injections
- Quad Injections
- Deltoid injections
- Subcutaneous injections into the stomach
So – which of these is the best approach?
The most effective form of TRT is the one that WORKS FOR YOU.
By that, I mean the approach that alleviates the symptoms of low testosterone that you are experiencing.
The goal of TRT is to resolve your symptoms of low testosterone with an approach that is convenient and effective for YOU.
TRT is not about chasing numbers on a lab report. Yes, your blood results and testosterone level markers will help with your diagnosis and treatment, but ultimately the goal is the relief of your symptoms.
Whether you accomplish this via injections, creams, gels or another approach, if your symptoms clear up, then that’s all that matters. After that, it comes down to what’s the most convenient for you.
It simply comes down to personal preference and what works
If you prefer injections, stick with injections. If you hate needles and have success with a cream or gel and prefer that approach, then stick with that.
The only time it’s necessary to try different methods, is when the method you have tried does not result in the successful resolution of your symptoms. Then it makes sense to speak to your doctor about a different approach.
Injections seem to have had the most success in the past. However, doctors and experts in the field are reporting great results with the new testosterone creams.
Again, find out what works best and is the most convenient for you.
If your symptoms clear up and you feel good, the numbers and method are irrelevant. For some people their testosterone levels might still be low, for others, high. While others might be in the mid-range. This doens’t really matter if your symptoms have cleared up.
Conclusion
We are all different and have different bodies and hormones. What works best for one person may not work for you.
Be proactive. Be patient. Try multiple methods if necessary. You will soon find a solution that is the most convenient and most effective for you!
Best of luck. Please let everyone know what method works the best for you in the comments section below!
Hi Paulo, I have gone thru your website and am very impressed and hoping to find a solution to my low T symptoms. I live in Africa, and want to know how you can help me.
Hi Paolo I’ve been on trt for 5 years. Before I started my testosterone level was well bellow the minimum range . First u started gel and the gel decreased my testosterone level . Then I switched to Sustanon 250 every 2 weeks and I started to feel like young god:) much erections were great morning erections every morning sex drive very good mood superb strength brilliantly. But unfortunately it all didn’t last long after 5 weeks I started losing all the benefits. Then they put me on nebido and it didn’t help much . Also nebido gives me a cystic painful acne like volcanoes:) I’m still on nebido but thinking of going back to sustanon. Doctors don’t know why I don’t feel benefits anymore and I’ve been in that state for the last 4 years. I’ve noticed that my prolactin level is usually high like(561 mu/l where the range is 70-410 mu/l ) doctors always say that it’s not that high to affect my libido and my depression. My testosterone level is good but I have no libido ed problem feel depressed and hopeless. Please Paolo can you advise me something cause I.m going crazy.
Best regards
Hi Karolo
I see you already got some advice from the community on YouTube.
While there are some good anecdotal points there, please remember that your situation is different to everyone else’s and should be looked at that way when getting treated.
Start by getting your doctor to get you into the mid-upper testosterone range and see how your symptoms improve.
If you still experience symptoms of low testosterone, do more blood work and see if there is anything else that is unusually high. For example, oestrodial. Only use an AI if absolutely necessary. Low oestrodial is just as detrimental to your health as low T, so you only want to use an AI if absolutely necessary.
If you feel your doctor is unable to analyse your blood work properly, or treat you appropriately, then try to find a more experienced TRT health professional. I am not a doctor and neither are the people in the community, so your best option is to work with an experienced TRT practitioner. They will be your best best for the optimal treatment.
Best of luck.
